I watched the first play to see if it made any sense. It didn't.

It's a basic Princeton back-screen and cut. Junior High stuff.

No one has a defense for that play.

I think I was just having a hard time following it without seeing defenders. I don't think I'm very good at following plays on a chart. Probably why my high school coach was always so mad at me. 03-lmfao

Hemond, we have Gabe Madsen coming in who can really shoot the ball. We need to figure out how to get him some open shots. Please diagram. Maybe we can run a decoy shooter baseline to the strong side and set a weak side screen from the top of the key with a skip pass? Looking forward to seeing what you can come up with.

Haha, if it makes you feel any better, I was a bench warmer -- partially due to that, and partially due to a lack of lateral quickness and effort on defense. I was a good shooter and a decent ball handler, but didn't have much to offer in the way of athleticism or defense. My time to shine was in summer league, when we only ran the most basic motion offense and were usually short 2 or 3 of our best players due to obligations preparing for fall sports. Only after high school did I learn how to make up for my lack of quickness with effort and angles/spacing. I always had a hard time visualizing plays unless I could watch it in live action. Draw up a play mid game? Forget about it.

Very effective.

I liked the pass to Fortson against Tulane where he took about seven steps and scored the winner.04-cheers

And as Huggins said of Fortson on that play, "you couldn't slide two sheets of paper under his feet when he jumped".

Lmao still funny!

My favorite play is when you rebound the other team's missed free throw and hail mary the ball out of bounds with 5 seconds left on the game clock.
