Fall option for players?
I heard a podcast where somebody suggested that an option for players who are on teams that are stopping for the fall (think seniors in the B1G or Pac-12) or opting out might be to coordinate a 7 on 7 league that could help their draft stock, draw a paycheck (you have to figure somebody would televise this) and give them an alternative to waiting for spring or just seeing their final year of eligibility disappear. Apparently The Rock and his investment team that bought the XFL are investigating this option. If this is true, it could impact some teams/leagues who still haven't pulled the plug...

RE: Fall option for players?
They'll likely get another year of eligibility, I think I'd wait for that vote to happen.
