The moderators are growing increasingly weary of the increasing acrimony in political threads. Consider this an open invitation to take a higher road before the moderators and I take structural action. I've let it be known my personal opinion is if it isn't up to par to jettison all political threads to either The Spin Room or a Rice specific subforum on The Spin Room like Memphis has done. If you would prefer that not to happen ... consider dialing things back some.

I thought the Quad WAS a subforum for political discourse.

He's talking about moving it to a different forum, where we would have lots of non-Rice people involved. If you think THIS is bad, you guys don't want that... trust me

If the mods here don't want to put up with it, the politics would be shunted into The Spin Room and all other non-Rice stuff would still reside here.

Nope, I avoid the Spin Room like the plague. what I don't see if the difference between the Quad and the Memphis Political-religious board.

Well, I post there with some regularity and I'm considered 'quite liberal' by a number of the posters on there.

I can see that. We have our differences, but I think you are incisive on your analysis and always fair. All in all I think you are the best poster here. Of course, first of 10 ... faint praise.

In a lot of ways, you may be the only analytic poster here. I do note who you have the most debates with. Most of the rest are clinging to some sort of dogma.
