Not to be petty, but there were estimated 1500 deaths from Covid Pandemic in the U.S. today, thus if equated to one every 8 seconds, there would actually have been closer to 10,500.

Do the math. 86,400 seconds in a 24 hour period.

Not sure where the 8 second info came from, but this is the same type of info that media and others pass along every day. It’s become normal for people to accept this rather than verifying facts.

Wondering why so much untrue info goes out constantly? I mean who or what organization could be behind this? ??

Only if there are near no fans and no mass gatherings to watch televised games could this be feasible. The May and June slight slowing was a result of earlier distancing. We relaxed and July and August brought so much back.

We are certainly in the process of shaking the 1,000 deaths per day. We've been below the number 3 times just this week. July was rough, to be sure. But August is trending the right way. 16 straight days of declining positive cases (14-day avg).

Not sure on the impact from school. Europe has been opening schools for a few weeks now, and no real increase has been seen yet.
