Pono -I think you mean Rollins and not Russel. I think Rollins will start if we use a 3 guard offense. Acunzo will likely then be first off the bench among the bigs and Saunders first off the bench for the guards.

RE: Summer Q&A With Coach K
I talked to someone close to the program in recent days who told me that the Coaches are very excited about the potential of this team. They think this is TK's most athletic team, and that they have a lot of flexibility in who they can put on the court based on match ups and game situations. With that said, I think we need to take a deep breath before we "crown" this team the Conference Championship. Because of our returning depth, we are going to need some of our freshmen and JC players to play important roles, and you never know how first year players are going to react to Division 1 Basketball. If first year players like Milner, Komagum, Rollins, Hill, and Acunzo can give them meaningful minutes, that will go a long way in whether or not the coaches have it right about the potential of this team and season.

We’ll play seven, 4 starters will average 30+ minutes per game,we’ll finish second or third in the West and lose in the semis of the MAC tournament, if there’s a MAC tournament.

good info Basketball Jones, it seems like the freshman guards are really impressing. hill and rollins (yeah, not russell) are very athletic long guards who will guard you and can are versatile backcourt guys. knowing we have 5 capable guards and none are slow or inadequate ballhandlers really helps depth. meanwhile, none of the bigs/forwards are first year guys really. komagum is 21, milner played a year of D1 and a year of juco, acunzo has been in the program for a year as has maranka. that group probably peaks in 2021-22 but it's a solid core, not like those joplin units with strong backcourts and a frontcourt that went 2 undersized power forwards deep.
