It's the other way around. The medical teams all say stop, but political pressure is coming from the fat man.

Only the western and northern medical teams. The southern medical personnel are saying Go.

Just to be clear, Covid case # is trending down nationally. For some reason, the media doesn’t cover it much.

Only teams that as of now are still playing west of the state of Texas are BYU & New Mexico State. I expect NMSU to cancel, they have 4 games left on schedule UAB, UTEP, Texas State & Louisiana. BYU should be able to pick up games once final decisions are made on who's in and who's out.

BYU should offer to pick up NMSU’s schedule.

God Bless the SEC and ACC and let's hope they can withstand the massive pressure applied by the PAC/B1G fumbles.
It's crazy how the lives of young people are being massively disrupted out of fears that they will infect 80 year olds with heart disease and asthma. And I suspect the medical teams advising the B1G are made up of people closer to 70 than 20.
I am 56 and do not want any 22 year olds to miss out on life out of fear that they will infect me.
Our values are warped in this thing.

Exactly...
I’m 57 and agree with every word.

I am 51, and I am the exact opposite of you. I almost saw a classmate died in front of when I was in the 6th grade. If I did not get the teacher to get him medical help? He would have died falling off the wooden play fort on the playground. I am more for the safety of the players on not playing because they could die from this virus, and they would be robbed of playing football ever again.

IIRC, of the first 130,000 Americans who died of CV19, about 70 were under age 22. And though I didn't see the stats, I would hazard to guess that among those 70, probably most had a serious pre-existing medical condition.
College athletes are simply not in any way a high-risk group for serious CV19 outcomes. Not saying there haven't been a handful, but we're talking extremely small numbers.

BREAKING: Hearing that both #Nebraska and #BYU are both fighting to join the @Big12Conference for upcoming season. Source spoke with several Big 12 ADs just moments ago.
Hope it works out for you all. We have a date available.
