that same percentage is real for all schools. Cuts are coming for almost if not every school, north of 25% of staff before the next three or so months.

When life gives you lemons...

Or we could take your advice, cower in the corner, and waste our golden opportunity to show we deserve to be P6.

Making lemonade with other peoples lives. Easy to do when you can stay at home and watch.

I was going to argue with you, but it’s not worth it. Thank goodness you don’t run the athletic department.

But what if the athletic dept decides to cancel the season ...? Just askin

Then it will be well thought out and explained... Not a knee jerk reaction to irrational fear.

We’ve prolly been laying the groundwork for that Spring football option for months —just in case.

I doubt it was a knee-jerk decision for anyone or they would’ve jerked their knees much earlier.

Look at the breakouts in NLB and they have no fans. College football is going to do this with fans. Everyone keeps talking about how young the players are and I get that but everyone associated with this endeavor is not college aged. Some I bet will be doing this because they have to or feel pressured into going along. My wife and I both have jobs with a lot exposure and we have no choice and let me tell you its scary as F! I have friends that work from home and are all about "opening things up". This thing has superspreader cluster f written all over it. I'm sure the Big 10's lawyers have told them this and that's why the plug got pulled.

This is why America can't have nice things.

School had to shutdown data after due to outbreak. At least three students did their civic duty to keep everyone safe which I thought was the American way....

Ridiculous on the school's part not to require masks. My kid's school is taking temperatures outside the door and must be under 100 to enter. Over 100, they have to go home. Everyone in the school must also wear masks anytime they are not seated at their desk... We considered doing the virtual option but felt the school was taking appropriate measures in staggering hallway times, masks, temp testing, etc. and doing as much as could be done to responsibly bring kids back to school.

It really is not that hard if schools would just take some common sense measures.

Interesting... In my world, where I work with a bunch of small businesses and also have a lot of corporate world clients, it is the small business owners (far more exposed) that are clamoring for everything to open up because their businesses and livelihoods depend on an open economy. My corporate world client's who have the ability to work from home and still get paid are the ones calling for everything to stay shut down, but most of them just like wearing PJs to work if you ask me...

A woman on Facebook said it all.

If they can send people home for wearing spaghetti strap tops, shorts and skirts one inch too short, and exposed midriffs, they can tell if a student is wearing a mask.

Two different universes. Too bad doing what's right to keep everyone in this country safe is politicized.
