Trevor Lawrence: Clemson wants to play football

My biggest fear about moving to a spring season is that a huge number of players eligible for the NFL next year, including Lawrence, will skip the season if it is moved.

For that reason, I don't think there should be a post-season if they play in the spring. Just play within your conference. But frankly, at this point I wouldn't bet on any college football until 2021. I miss college sports as much as the next guy, but this is a once in a lifetime situation, and I don't want that to risk the long-term careers of the athletes.

Spring football only increases the risk of injury if the players are asked to play again in the fall.
The COVID numbers do not warrant the cancellation of the season if protocols are put into place and adhered to.
