I can’t imagine Michigan St sitting out if Michigan is playing and others from the Big Ten are joining the Big XII for the season... Same for Penn St with Pitt and Big Ten. They’re both way more valuable and reasonable geographically than Arizona/Arizona St.
North: Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa St, Michigan, Michigan St, Ohio St, WVU, Penn St
South: Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU
I also don’t suspect the SEC or ACC would react to the Big XII bringing in Big Ten members by poaching the AAC, but I could see the AAC trying to bring in some Pac-12/MW/Independents who are still interested in a season.
No to the latter, sorry. No way cross country trips will happen. Especially the PAC 12. And MWC is out too.
I can’t see OSU and UM breaking ranks. It’s pretty much ND and Nebraska that make the most sense. They are national brands, albeit a much smaller one for the latter. But the exceptions make total sense. UM and OSU??? Who do they play besides Nebraska? SEC won’t take them. The Big 12 would but that would be such a slap in the face to the rest of the B1G.

Imagine the Big 12 scheduling a round robin with Nebraska to minimize player exposure.... UN is dialing the phones and whipping texts all over right now. It’s not out of the realm of possibility, especially if Nebraska forks up some revenue at a later date. And they are not holding to the academic standards from what I’ve read here in the past (neither is Rutgers as of late... but, I’m rambling).
The home team has the TV rights. Nebraska's home games would go to the Big 10 TV contract.
Give them a road game every week. What difference does it make with no or limited fans?
Be the visiting team in your own home stadium. Complete with standing on the visiting sideline.

Plus all the classes will be virtual, what difference does it make besides the flight costs?

I will just say, Nebraska getting a Big 12 wild card bid will be the craziest thing in realignment since the Big East blowup with Pitt and Cuse. You seriously could not think of a scenario where Nebraska of all teams gets back in there and this soon. What a crazy year it's been. I'm actually hoping it happens just to see those uniforms face off again for a full year on the gridiron.

It would be epic for Nebraska to run a Big XII season. The folks in Norman, Manhattan, Stillwater and Ames would go bananas.

It would be great to get the Big 8 band back together for another round. Too bad Missouri and Colorado are tied up elsewhere. Nebraska doesn't really belong in the B1G, the whiners you see on Twitter are right about that much.

Well, Ohio State's, Michigan's and Penn State's head football coaches have publicly stated otherwise.

Nothing happens in a vacuumn.
An emergency positions you to break from a leadership source that controls you. You can do it and blame it on something else like MD.
Given that Nebraska is leery of Texas - would the SEC take Nebraska? The ACC would certainly take Penn State. With PSU and Nebraska out of the B10, does that drop their revenue?

True, but their input will actually be considered. And, a real reporter tweeted some rumors and rumblings. That and public statements by head coaches are better than message board opinions.

It is not up to coaches, players, ads and fans. In a health crisis, people lives come before sports. With travel requirements? Do an opposing team want to stay in a hotel room for two weeks quaratining and missed 2 weeks of games? That is why no games for Michigan, Penn. State and Ohio State until spring.
