Anyone who thinks spring ball is realistic either is a fool. The logistics of alone make it impossible. You can’t have spring football unless you cancel the 2021 season the turnaround is simply too small if you intend to play a full season in spring.

Well they aren't planning to play a full fall season. Just do a shortened schedule in the spring, and/or shorten fall 2021 also.

I think the issue for many is money, they can't afford not to have a season. Too much money is made from TV contracts and ticket sales.

They won’t have ticket sales anyway. It wont be until late 2021 when we see fans at sports games again. The tv contract money comes either way.

IF they can't make fall football work this year thy should not play at all and hope that 2021 will be a much better option, without ticket sales, concession sales, and parking the MAC made the right call.

It's the conferences with the $30 Million + TV revenue that have a lot to lose by not playing... The AAC is borderline.

Memphis officials seem to think that's where we're headed, too.

8 games, conference only and conference championship game by end of February. 4 teams to play in national championship. Or no conference championship, but 8 teams selected to play in national championship including top G5.

I don’t understand how the Spring is any more safe than right now. January and February are peak flu season months. Add on top a global pandemic, not a chance we’re playing in the Spring.

Will be interesting to see how many of our athletic departments survive without a football and basketball season this year. AAC may be obsolete this time next year.
