The usual p5 fan claim is that it’s grades or they cooled on him, but each one of their schools sent him an official offer graphic on August 1st.

We are losing Austin Watkins, Markus Grossman, Myron Mitchell, and Rob Johnson(I think). Plenty of PT to be had.

If this is the same kid, i am not endorsing cancel culture. Everyone has a chance at redemption, and it appears he was Dean's list at Butler so maybe he used this as a second chance and is taking the most of it.

I trust Bill Clark and his judgement of character and I am sure he did his homework on this kid.

I don't know who Dennis Victory is at al.com but he needs a quick dose of humility. That article is just dripping with disdain for little 'ole UAB and he does everything but come right out and say he thinks Bennett is an idiot.

Unfortunately when players of this caliber decide to stay instate but don’t go to AU or UA, there are some people petty enough to wish those players would leave the state rather than give a 3rd or 4th school momentum in recruiting. I don’t get it.
