How to deal with Miami?
2021 and beyond need to continue as scheduled. No adjusting for Miami cancelling this year at Oxford.

Agree. Their loss due to MAC canceling.

RE: How to deal with Miami?
Have to see what happens. Presumably if the AAC ends up canceling the fall, then we could still play the game the in the spring if the AAC goes that way. If neither of us plays in the fall or following spring, they might deserve an adjustment of some sort. If we play the fall and they don't we should definitely have some leverage. There will be a lot of schools faced with similar situations however things end up, so I'm guessing this would be resolved similar to them if and when it comes to that.

No one seems to object to the suspension of FB during WW2, as related to "continuous" type claims. It is hard to see how this should be much different.

I think that was due to a lack of playing age males...little different rationale, but still the same conclusion. We've done this before, so it's not exactly completely foreign territory at least.

RE: How to deal with Miami?
It's easy to deal with MiamiOH:

First, you send someone to Oxford and recruit 6-7 325 OT Tommy Doyle to UC. With double nickel at LT, the Bearcat OL becomes much better.
Next, you send someone to Kalamazoo and recruit LB Treshaun Heyward from WMU
Then you send someone to Buffalo to see if DL Taylor Riggins and Malcomb Koonce are still in town, and recruit them.

Finally, you schedule home and away games with Army and BYU
and a home game with Navy.

All three teams will draw well at Nippert.

Boise State lost three scheduled games this season and replaced them with three new teams in a couple of days. Bearcats can do the same.

The 2020 season is still alive! Go Bearcats!
