The key word being "FANS". I don't know of too many CUSA "fans" from UL, UC, or TCU. If they were fans they wouldn't be jumping ship to an inferior BCS conference or making a lateral move to another non-BCS conference.

Comparing the Big East and the SEC? :rofl:

If UL were going to the ACC or the SEC, I wouldn't bat an eye. Big East minus VT, Miami, and BC? :stupid:

Reasons why we went to the Big East

-Geography (We have nothing in comming with teams from Alabama or Texas. We have played teams from the Big East many times in the past)
-BCS (The precious BCS was mostly the main reason for it. They have the bid)
-Basketball (Louisville, Cincy, Marquette, Syracuse, Seton Hall, Providence, UConn, Pittsburgh, Villanova, Notre Dame, St. John's, etc. Need I say more? Best basketball league in the country where we belong)

But like I said this is all about the BCS and getting a share of that pie. Sad that college sports has come to all of this, but thats just the way it is.

Don't worry, the SEC would never come calling to USM. Why should we.......................we already have Vandy to whip up on. :laugh: :laugh:

Vandy would get killed by USM, IMO.
