RE: 2020 Football Season
From FootballScoop. It sounds like the MAC may not be able to afford to play next spring without the money games to pay for all the Covid testing that will be needed.

MACtion: Sources tell FootballScoop leadership at multiple MAC programs are struggling to come to grips with what sources are describing as potentially debilitating financial issues for some athletic programs. As programs look to the Spring, some are wondering how that will be economically feasible. Significant cuts to programs are on being discussed. Stay tuned for more on this topic in the coming days.

NIU really needs to look into another donation strictly for trying to maintain athletics. As bad as it sounds, I think if there was a football only go fund me type of fund there would be a good amount of donations. Anything helps during times like these.

Some schools in MAC will not survive to play at D1 level. NIU might be one of them. MONEY is issue.

I am bummed. I wasn't called asshat by Dogfan

I guess you have to call him it first.
