Washington State Coach “Clean out your locker” if part of protest...l.
Washington State Football Coach Nick Rolovich telling players part of the #WeAreUnited movement to clean out their lockers.

Apparently coach called the bluff of some of these social justice football players.

Now some players are saying they had health concerns about playing because of Covid and thought it wouldn’t matter if they supported sitting out this year since they didn’t think there would be games.

Play stupid games / Win stupid prizes

While I applaud the effort, this Coach will be gone by the end of the week.

Tis the cancel world we now live in. Sad.

And they’ll have to pay him like $10 million, so go fishing and have a great life away from this kinda garbage.

End of the week? End of the day - today!

I am surprised he was still able to put his head on his pillow last night with the title of head coach....

Don't these contracts have "just cause" or something that allows the HC to be fired without receiving his full compensation? if he is fired, I can see that stipulation being used.

No where in a Coach's contract does it mention cutting players to be a "Just Cause". It is his program. He can release players at his leisure. Not a democracy.

Thats a universities' protection for flagrant rules violations, and its still next to impossible to enforce. (Usually because the school was involved in the violations as well, or the head coach keeps his hands clean and allows someone else to cheat for him.)

Also, when a school threatens to use it, especially whimsically, they wont be able to hire another coach with that stipulation in there.

With all due respect - have you been living under a rock?

If cops can't arrest real criminals for real crimes, Coaches can't cut players "just cuz".....

Are scholarships still considered one year contracts or did that change?
