It’s in the email that you can ask for a refund. That’s what we’re gonna do. Social distancing and political stickers on helmets are enough for me to skip this year.
This is what we are doing also, and for the same reasons!!

The form itself has that as the final option... It says you want someone to contact you about a refund.

Hells bells, y'all. You can be "entertained" by our players who are mostly African-American, and yet, you can't support them in a movement for equal rights. The stickers are not "political." They do not say "Trump" or "Biden." I think that mindset really sucks.

But I will be donating my tickets because due to my age, it is not safe for me to be in crowds. I am currently also unemployed because I am also homebound due to the risk of Covid, which means, my funds are very low. But by damn, I will donate my ticket to the football program, because I love my Tigers. SMH at some of you folks.

I know we are not supposed to be political on this board, but I cannot just let this one go without comment. BLM is not a civil rights organization. It is a Marxist organization. The founder of it ADMITTED it in a YouTube video (saying that she is a "trained Marxist"), and the goal of destroying the traditional family unit is enumerated on their website under the "what we stand for" section. They are anarchists. It is literally the equivalent of putting an Antifa sticker on their helmet. They may be unaware of this fact, but that is no excuse when you have a freaking marketing department whose job it is to research this stuff, and correct the assumptions made by those that made this stupid decision.

Bingo. The decision to wear BLM stickers is uneducated, pandering, and political.

That said, I don't care. I'll still root for the team/city.

Yes, and the department of education actually educates kids, and the department of commerce actually creates commerce, and the department of energy cranks out kilowatts. I know it may be hard to believe, but sometimes, what something is named and what it really is are not the same. See, Affordable Care Act. See Re-Education camp. Why don't you do yourself a favor and look at the BLM web site? The flowery ideas don't exactly match with what they espouse. There is no need to be the useful idiot when so much information is available.

I don't get why football has to comply with Social Distancing, when other parts of society don't.

I got the email and thinking about taking option 2, just due to uncertainty.

But I agree with what you're saying. The AD has to be considering a premium on these limited supply tickets. It only makes sense. The "premium" will likely come in buying a season ticket for 6 games, but only getting to go to 2 of them (in the 6-ft scenario; 1 game in the 12-ft scenario).

They currently expect the 6-ft scenario to accommodate all season ticket holders

I know, but I don't believe it. I suppose if enough of us take Option 2, it may. But that's what they don't know right now.

Thing is, if it's 6' between ACCOUNTS... i.e. my wife and I can sit right next to each other, the LB "should" accommodate all season ticket holders, I would imagine.

Imagine a block of seats 13 ft tall by 13 ft wide. If every person must maintain a 12 foot distance, that means that ONE person can fit in a 13ft x 13ft square (with six ft buffer on each side that matches up with another 13x13 square.

Decrease the social distancing to 6ft, and you can fit FOUR people in the same place... all maintaining 6ft distance.

I will be selecting #1. And I will donate my 4 tickets to the someone who is less at risk than I am.

Unlike the turn coat quitters on this board who are asking for refunds. I back my fandom, love my city, and support my university.

I am ashamed that some of you call yourselves tigers fans.

The University has no right to my money. I am not a quitter, but nice kindergarten language try there, bub. Did the University push back at all, like asking for medical proof of any of these ridiculous changes?

A donation to the university is a donation. Buying tickets is a an exchange of money for goods and services. Neither is a god-given right the university has. You sold me A, people are having a ridiculous reaction to a virus, so situation B is where we now are. Me changing my mind is not some traitorous act. Sheesh.

But hey, toot your horn if it makes you feel superior in some warped, twisted way.
