If we're not going to play many P5 teams, then let's just play each other and then all schedule one feature nonconference matchup (or bodybag game).

11 teams makes for a very clean 10 game round robin. If Navy cannot oblige, then you just modify the rotation to accommodate them for one season.

No conference will gain or lose ground in 2020. This is a warmup season for 2021 at this point.

I think (or hope) the only reason we're not announcing that and going with the wait and see strategy is to get the buyout money for the canceled games. After that we can announce our schedule.

If your opponents are willing to play another nonconference game, why shouldn't the school be allowed to lay it. It can only help the bottom line of some of these programs.

Tbh I’d much rather play SMU and Navy than FIU and FAU

If you can play 2 non-conference home games, rather than 1-home & 1 away. Which would you rather do?

Who is the away game? That's a BIG factor.

It's clear the major issue for the ACC, SEC & Big 12 collaboration was over who gets home games.

This is the way. Tulsa's schedule is still intact. Let us play.

AAll of SMU's non conference games are with regional Texas opponents. If we went to a 10+1 schedule. It would cost us big time.

Cant do spring and still play the 2021 season. The logistics and short turnaround make it impossible.

I guess teams will have to be strategic and choose a season they want to use their 1st team in Huh.

The choice will probably be made for them as most of the juniors and seniors will sit out the spring season if they even have a hint of nfl prospects.
