The Trump Train
I've been thinking of ways President Trump could energize his base since large scale rallies are not possible. Why not do train stop rallies with smaller crowds in smaller towns? The events would be outdoors and he could do 3 or 4 in one day. It would be ironic in this age of technology if he did something like this to keep his personal contact with his base.

The base idea is good but the fact that it would still entail people being close to each other would squash that idea. Hire a train and let the people stand alongside the track at six foot intervals to wave and cheer him on. All. Along. The. Route.
It probably wouldn't be feasible as it would take a very long time traveling as train travel gave way to airplanes because airplanes were much faster. But we can dream.

It works for Garth Brooks, why not Trump? Renting these venues would give the owners a definitely needed revenue boost. Security would be the issue because you know Antifa THUGS would want to harass attendees.

I’ve thought too
Plenty of space in infields, just only allow X number of folks down there. Then allow groups of up to ten at a time into the seats, separated by a minimum 2-3 empties. Hand sanitizer and masks available all around the concourse and free water bottles.
There ya go. I’ve thought of the train whistle stop idea too. Just do it in what? 4,5,6 preferred States? Pa would certainly appreciate an old school approach like that, Ohio too, perhaps Mi.
I think the issue there would be the security logistics would be a nightmare. Pre-planned routes, wide open spaces and fields and rural areas with lots of “cover” to deal with. Probably a thousand other things like drones and featherweight planes, the list could be endless.

Unfortunately, train travel is obsolete now. Back in the 40s, for instance, our town had 5 passenger train stations along its 20 miles. Now there are zero. Tracks are only used for freight and the depots are gone (Lee Hall depot was actually moved across the street and is being restored, and turned into a museum). Imagine it is the same across America.
