RE: 2020
2020 has most definitely been a crap year.

This past weekend my family had to admit my mother into the hospital due to her dementia and fear for my fathers health. We just celebrated her 64th birthday in July. Heartbreaking to say the least...

Really hoping 2021 brings new life and joy back to our lives cause this **** is tough.

My best thoughts to you and your family in what is clearly a difficult time. Hopefully next year will be better for all of us.

I've started and then deleted several responses. My mom passed nine years ago, at the age of 79. But she was essentially not with us for the last 4 years of her life. It was brutally difficult.

I'm so sorry, Mo. There is no good age for this, but 64 is way too young.

RE: 2020
Guys, I will be 74 next week. I thank God everyday that (despite being overweight) my health is essentially good, that Covid has not reached our house, and that I am still able to enjoy sports and participate with my fellow fans in supporting our Monarchs. I am clearly in my sunset years, but life is good, and I am thankful for what I have. I will be especially thankful when we once again get to see the Monarchs at work on Foreman Field. 2020 -- A year that will live in infamy. It cannot be done and gone soon enough!

Cheers!
