We have them on the schedule. I would bet all the independents will want to keep whomever is willing to stay on their schedule and would probably play teams twice in the same season. That could fill 2 of the 4 for us.

After MT's experience with UAB a couple of years ago; I vote a RESOUNDING NO on playing anybody twice in one year, even if both games are in the Boro.

Each of their opponents had another game against the G5, but those were road games. Ignoring the in-state requirement, choosing a home game over a road game is an easy decision.

Liberty is in the ACC footprint and they were will to take @ ACC game. They probably don't need $ so their demands were low to boot.

It's called having a good, aggressive, AD. Ian McCaw was Baylor's AD until getting shown the door after the fake news "rape" scandal that allegedly happened on Art Briles' watch. But only one player was ever convicted. Anyway, McCaw is a very good AD. He made Baylor a Top 20 program in football, men's basketball, baseball, softball and Tennis while in Waco. Not bad for a relatively small private school. (I'm not even giving him credit for the women's BB program, because they were already successful when he arrived.)

Liberty damage control. Jr finally went too far. Virginians knew he was a d-bag long before this incident. The apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

Did you see the photo? I was hoping for something crazy. You can clearly see the girl is wearing a wig and it is some kind of party. Why would he agree to take a leave of absence. There must be another picture with him and this woman naked.

Liberty is supposed to be ultra-conservative, ultra-Christian. Students are expected to abstain from all vices, including alcohol and fornication. I have a cousin who attended liberty and the college rules re: alcohol and interactions w/females are extreme. So Jr’s behavior is extremely out of line with their standards. Jr and his father are the ultimate crooks/d-bags. They have advanced their personal financial position through their proclaimed ties to Christian values. They are the ultimate hypocrites.

This is scandalous. Not a far reach to say he bedded her. Or wanted to.

Scandalous? Isn't that going a little far. She has a wig on and he sharpied his beard. Clearly a party. He let someone take the picture too. I certainly wouldn't do that at his age, but he obviously has a better sense of humor than us.

Really? I mean, really? He "bedded" her? Are you prepare to slay him with the Olde Axe of Dominion in defense of purity?

I have no interest in the Falwells or Liberty U. But c'mon man.

It's the hypocrisy which is the issue, not necessarily the photo itself.

Jr. is clearly living his truth, yet lead and advocated for an evangelical University which has strict codes of conduct. If anything, his resignation is another warning about being a moral busybody. Eventually, the other busybodies catch up to you.

its a leave of absence. he might be back in six months. if they can really get rid of him and his minions than Liberty will eventually become a respected university.

I don’t think you have your narrative correct, but Baylor did confront the problem.

Now that there’s some time between now and the game, who screwed up and how?
