To me, sex trafficking denotes the girls were abducted and forced into prostitution, whereas pimping denotes a voluntary, albeit sometimes tyrannical mutual business relationship between hooker and pimp. This may sound callous in this day and age but sometimes there are young women who choose to go into prostitution. Of course my question and statements do not mean to condone any of this and certainly If we are taking about girls under a certain age that is problematic.

......hmmm, how about the fact it was underage girls makes it sex trafficking and not prostitution?

Yes I concur if it is a 12 year old girl that is disgusting. My point is I am now reading and hearing of every instance of prostitution being trafficking. As awful as this sounds, if a well developed 17 year old runs away from home and voluntarily goes to work for some pimp, I do not see it as the same thing as some guy drugging a 17 year old at the mall, taking her away and forcing her into the sex trade. Again I am not speaking solely of this Epstein case.
