RE: SEC to 10 game schedule with NO OOC games
A short time ago, Bama FBHC Saban drew G5 ire when he suggested that P5 teams play a nine game conference schedule (out of 12). Now due to the current Covid pandemic, he seems to have gotten his wish - in SPADES!! They are going to play a 10 game schedule ENTIRELY within each conference. If this special remedy works out, the P5 may replicate it in the future and play only each other cutting out G5 teams (and FCS) entirely. If the P5 conferences pull out of OOC play with G5 teams, what will college football look like in the next decade? . Will the "poor relations" within the P5 be able to succeed in a rigorous schedule of having to play only the creme de la creme of the various conferences for so much of their schedule? With no Mercer type schools to inflate their wins, will they be able to sustain their present programs?

RE: SEC to 10 game schedule with NO OOC games
Those schools like Kansas, Wake Forest, Vandy, Purdue are gonna have it much worse trying to get to 6 wins with a 9-10 game conference schedule.
Are they gonna schedule those FCS games for the gimme wins or play other P5s for recruiting excitement in the other 2-3 games?
