I'd like to see a frickin fish kneel.

is a squid a fish above or bel(l)ow ice.... 03-wink

forgive me fs....that one was center cut, waiting to be sucked into the abyss.... ya know I'm just 'funnin'....

I meant I was going fishing. Lol

easily better than MEM hoops of late vs. foosball, Ja?!

#cheeky to black vs. blue and the many metro games that were a blast on the hardwood (so many great games and heartbreakers)

It's super rich watching a bunch of Russians kneeling to protest social injustice in another country when if they did that in opposition to their own government, they'd have their heads blown off.
Point taken

The name stands for flying squid which is a name I gave this team I coached back in the day. So I'm way above the ice!

Now that the NCAA has decided free expression on the field is important, will they apologize to Tim Tebow?

End zone celebrations can become “expressions of values” and be allowed.

It caused a bit of stir here in Cincinnati. Reds star Joey Votto took the knee during the national anthem. Joey is Canadian. As someone on the radio said, how would it go over for a baseball player to be disrespectful while they played Oh Canada at a Blue Jays game.

Just another reason in a growing list of why the schools in the upper division need to leave the NCAA.

Might as well. Then the lowly schools in those conferences will then be cast out, because the bigger schools that make all of the money for the conferences won't want to share their riches. Just a matter of time.

When the number ESPN was paying the SEC got over $1billion the writing was on the wall for Missouri, Vandy an the two Sipp schools. Why share with them? Kentucky contributes basketball revenue. South Carolina may be on the outside looking in also. Nobody recruits South Carolina.

If anything, the P5 would bring more of this stuff with them than they leave behind.

nah....the only reason the NCAA is relevant, is their tourneys, their rules...

when the flagships abandon - call it 48 to 60 - they rewrite their set of rules...

it becomes an entire other entity where $$$ drive the monster truck in talent.....transfer rules wave buh bye too...

watch it happen by '24.....

Come on. It's still going to be an organization ran by a bunch of college presidents and their customers students.

Except the P5 has more incentive to bend over backwards because they're the ones that make lots of money and if they're by themselves that makes them easier targets for critics of college sports who think players ought to be making money.
