I think this should scare democrats as it's an indication of mainstream America's thoughts on the "Woke Cancel Culture".
Quote:The average number of prime-time viewers watching A&E has fallen about 50% in the wake of the network's decision to cancel a popular reality show that followed police officers in real-time in several American cities.
What a completely dumbfvck move. Can anyone even imagine the ratings from a country of shut-ins watching the left coast schitholes burn by their own "citizens"? We're all already watching 2-3 hours a day just from video snips and news programs not called VFNN or MSDNC, they'd be UP 50% easy right now.
Get woke, go broke. Sad.
Guess the youthful marxists don't get that. At least the ones 44 and younger.
It's got to be tough for the lefties running that network. Their highest rated show had to be canceled by their reasoning because of the anti police sentiment from......the left.
It also showed the dumb **** that officers have to face every day and how tough their job can be. Doesn't fit the left's agenda. So..........get woke, go broke.
Disney probably knew it was going to happen, but they really had no choice. It was the only good thing on there after Duck Dynasty jumped the shark in season 3, however.
I personally liked the show, but I did feel conflicted because I think it supported the laws as they are, the way we think of policing as it is, the way we view the classified others (race, class, etc).
The majority of the show was poor person from poor SC, FL, LA, NV, TX, RI getting caught, while outsiders looked on in amusement. It's never upper middle-class kid in their neighborhoods getting caught with something.

Because poor folks want to get on TV for even bad reasons and middle class parents know how to hire lawyers.
If you want this show back on the air by mid-November remember to vote Biden.

I DVR'd Live PD every Friday and Saturday night so I could zip through it. Some segments were just stupid, but all in all, it was entertaining. What people don't realize is missing children were located because of the show and many criminals were recognized by viewers that led to arrests.
One constant that always amused me was when an obviously inebriated driver was pulled over and asked how much he had to drink, 90% of them would say two beers. Always two beers. Hope A&E loses their azz and has to shut down. Idiots.

Meh, bull****. Never say never. Here's a thought, maybe the "poor person" areas are a majority source of these type activities. And I have seen middle class white kids being pulled over in bad areas while out cruising for drugs.
By and large upper middle class kids aren't running from the cops making footage for shows like this. They simply aren't committing crimes like burglaries and armed robberies at the same rate as disadvantaged people.

I'm just saying how I feel conflicted about shows like this, you don't have to feel the same way. Like I said, I liked it. I liked it just like I like Can't Pay We'll Take it Away, Cops, Nightmare Neighbors, Rogue Landlords, and a lot of other trash TV. I just think that--unlike the British shows of my list--Live PD and Cops make no attempt at saying that these are people that are generally in really bad situations and that a little empathy should be felt at the end, but that these are criminals that deserve to be put in the modern version of a stockade for the rest of their lives.
