Politics aside we've lost a great man. A man of Morehouse who always gave back to The House but back to his neighborhood (The Bluff) as well. Years of mentoring in the Atlanta area through 100 Black Men of America and his fraternity Iota Phi Theta. He will definitely be missed.

I was fortunate enough to meet Herman Cain on several occasions at 100 Black Men functions or functions at Morehouse and Clark-Atlanta. He was a bright guy who believed that we should give back to young black men and women in the community and not forget them once we've "made it". I cant tell you how many Men of Morehouse got great internships and later jobs at Coca-Cola due to Herman Cain. Herm didn't talk politics and would refuse to talk politics if you attempted to bring it up to him. He was so misunderstood by those who didn't know him. I'm struggling dealing with the loss of John Lewis who has been around my family since the early 60s. Now this happens to Herm. I'm just out of it right now man. Damn the politics focus on humanity.

An unfortunate occurrence and strong reminder that Covid19 is deadly and uncaring of one's political party. Also a reminder that at risk populations (AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT INTERACTS WITH THEM) need to stay away at home.

He seemed like a great guy.
