Former stAte pitcher Tyler Zuber has made the opening day roster of the Royals. A sixth round pick he moved up in 3 years. He makes the majors after skipping AAA.

It seems strange not having a Jag in the majors. We have several in the minors, but with David Freese retiring after the 2019 season and Lock St. John going down to the minors we no longer have a representative. The latest transaction on Locke St. John’s MLB profile is that he was assigned back to the Pirates so maybe he’ll make a return at some point. I’m ready for Travis Swaggerty to be called up!
