I haven’t missed sports one bit since Covid started. If Covid has shown me anything it’s how much time and money I have wasted watching sports during my life.

I’ve been a UofL football season ticket holder since 85. I was a LouCity season ticket holder the last two seasons. I knew well before Covid started that due to health concerns the days of me going and setting in the cold watching sports have passed. I will be watching from home.

Last week when I turned on the match and watch the Louisville side kneel during the anthem, I turned the television off. Haven’t missed it a bit.

As I have repeatedly said, I support these overpaid, over pampered athletes right to take a knee. They will just need to support my right to turn the TV off.

If they allow UofL athletes to dishonor our flag by kneeling I won’t watch that either. I will also stop my yearly donation to the Cardinal Athletic Fund.

A person doesn't need sports, there are other things that are needed and sports WASN'T EVER ON THAT LIST. Heck, you don't see pasty white kids wearing athletic wear do you? That's how much THEY need sports and sports will suffer because the ones that did watch it are getting turned off to it because of those whiney overpaid idiots.

I never came back after the strikes of 80 or 81, cant remember which year it was. I was a huge baseball card collector in the 70's, and that strike turned me off and I never gave a damned again.

Bet you don't see any of the immigrant baseball players kneel to the National Anthem. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Venezuelans etc. They thank God every morning and night that America Exists.
