Phil Steele predictions
Got this from the main board, have not seen Steele's mag. Parentheses are computer rankings 1 through 130. This NIU team picked for last in the West as I suspect they will be by most prognostications.
East:
1. UB (61)
2. OU (63)
3. Miami (71)
4. Kent (105)
5. BG (128)
5. Akron (129)
West:
1. Toledo (64)
2. CMU (89)
3. WMU (102)
4. Ball (101)
5. EMU (118)
5. NIU (117)
CFN also shows last in West:

96. Ohio
103. Western Michigan

107. Central Michigan
111. Miami
113. Eastern Michigan
117. Northern Illinois

RE: Phil Steele predictions
At first, I thought this was bullcrap. But, then I looked at the projected rankings a bit closer and see that Toledo is firmly ensconced in first place. Now, I feel better! With Toledo getting its annual first place projection, I know that those rankings are accurate and the world has resumed its rightful place in the cosmos. In these very uncertain and scary times, it is so wonderful to see stability and tradition that you can count on.

RE: Phil Steele predictions
I suppose they could always surprise like CMU did last season. Where were they projected to finish last year?

RE: Phil Steele predictions
The disrespect is real. They’re at least middle of the pack.
