I would like to see UAB play Memphis on a regular basis - starting this year. It was a rivalry just beginning to hit a stride when it ended. A H&H with Tulane would make fams of visiting NOLA happy too.

BALL state seem the perfect scenario,,we are not ready yet for memphis

If you are going to stick with an FCS game, then Tennessee Tech or Tennessee State would be a good pick.

Now if you have to replace Miami. Look for UCF to be available when GA Tech (ACC) cancels that game.

Samford could be available, depending on what the ACC ultimately decides. I doubt UAB can pay what Florida St. is paying, but any pay is better than no pay and travel expense would be less. Personally, as long as we continue to play a FCS game, I would like to play Samford once in awhile.

How about we just play anybody available. Who cares if they are FCS. Any of those 5 look like we get to go to a game to me...

LaTech filled one of their lost games with FCS Houston Baptist.

FCS Conferences playing this fall: SoCon (includes Kennesaw State and North Alabama) and Ohio Valley Conference(many nearby schools including Jax State)...

Samford would be good.

Jax State is the only one I think competes with A&M and state as far as visiting fans I think.

That would be a fantastic game IMHO. Purdue will have to pay us to get out of the game so if UAB offered us whatever you guys were going to pay Alabama A&M it would all work out and Memphis would still get a pay day.
