Nope.
Somewhat for Jarr’s reason.
And otherwise because I tolerate “crowds” only because I love gameday, but they are the exact worst place to be right now.

Sounds like I might be able to get good seats if I pop down for a game.

My season ticket group has two adults that are roughly 70 years so we will likely sit this out and instead of taking the health or financial risk. I did buy a bunch of gear this week from the bookstore's online sale which is still a great way to support UC. Not super confident that a real season is played but I do look forward to watching on TV, ESPN+, or whatever is needed to watch the Cats.
I am not sure if sitting out a season from a ticket standpoint is a bad thing. I won't miss the 6 to 7 hour game days or the leaving work earlier to make weeknight football and basketball games. I have always been super hardcore and try to keep my schedule open for Bearcat games but with the kids its harder to make every home game.
Given the age of your fellow ticket buyers, your plan sounds like a great way to support the Bearcats and mitigate any Covid risks. This ‘ole world could use more common sense like that displayed by your group.

I'm just gonna pay for the tickets and not go. I work with Covid patients every day.

What's the demographic of the average patient you're working with?
Just wondering.

I'd feel safe going anywhere, I take zinc, and I've already had this and recovered from it.

RE: Will you feel safe attending games at Nippert?
Unfortunately, it is not just about me.
My wife and I have been helping some older neighbors (80+) with other health issues. Even though the chance of picking up Covid-19 at a FB game is very low, I just can't expose them to that risk.
The big risk is not just sitting in the stands. It is the ticket lines to get in. winding past the concessions, going to the restroom, and the crush when everyone is leaving. They can mitigate part of that with distance and masks, but not all. I suspect that compliance might be an issue given all the people who think this is just a hoax.

Nobody thinks it is a hoax. The argument is about whether the public outcry is overstated. In addition, your actions make perfect sense.

I’ll follow all the rules they lay out and I won’t feel the least bit unsafe.

At least give us some credit for improving our attendance. You know you wouldn't fill a 70K seat stadium either. Also, over the last 5 years, you're averaging about 1,600 more than us a game, which isn't much of a difference.
Temple 2008 attendance: 15,582
Temple 2019 attendance: 29,460
No one else in the country who was averaging 10K+ nearly doubled their attendance.

First, a Bearcat fan already chided me about trying to dump on Temple...so, yeah...
Second, I am actually looking forward to seeing my favorite Bearcats at "the Linc" assuming the season gets that far. I caught the game last season in Huntington, this year I'm seriously hoping to get to go to the Linc to watch the Bearcats.
