Division I financials for FY19 | USA Today
2018-2019 NCAA Finances | USA TODAY

Methodology for 2019 NCAA athletic department revenue database| USA TODAY

I extracted all of the Sun Belt data into a google doc and made rankings based on a few categories. I've made the spreadsheet where anyone with the link can download a copy and edit as they wish.

The University System of Georgia capped athletic subsidies at 65% for both Georgia Southern and Georgia State. The policy also states that athletic expenses can't grow more than 5% per year. Georgia State is in violation of both.

I hate how COVID-19 ruined everything because I would have loved to see how Hancock Whitney Stadium changed the dynamics for USA.

Well to be fair. The first is completely understandable and State needs to take more responsibility for it's burden - but I think the argument can be made they are making long term investments.

For the second point- the USG can eat cake. Anything that has exemptions for favorites is bs.

Quote:expense by 5% with the exception of Power 5 Institutions (currently The University of Georgia
and Georgia Institute of Technology);
