Of course, he has to say this. Their jobs are on the line.

We all want football. I'm also confident the student athletes want to play.

How are programs going to ensure its student athletes are safe? Are they going to offer regular testing? Will players be required face shields?

I mean, if we don't have these answers now, and it's nearly 6 to 7 weeks away from a season, it ain't happening.

Without fans, it's not economically feasible. And we know, at best, fan attendance will be severely limited, or prohibited by Governor's.

Love our AD, but a bold statement. Better to say we will have college football at some point 2020/2021.

I also remain optimistic until that option is no longer plausible. Then, I will adjust to what ever the circumstances dictate.

Not much they can do, unfortunately. The reason why several other continents can actually play sports (Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand (with crowds at rugby matches in New Zealand)) is because those places have gained some measure of control over the virus, which makes ancillary things like sports possible.
