OK enough joking aside.... another example of double standards in our society... I doubt a male teacher with 15 year old female would have only been a 2 year sentence. I hope that she seeks some counseling to obtain help.

Contributing to delinquency - yes.
Possibly guilty of child pornography, although it doesn't say that (but I'm suspicious that she showed him hers but never asked to see his...)
She'll do her 2 years then spend the rest of her life on the registered sex offenders list.

When I was 15 I worked for an entire year in an effort to nail the German teacher.

There is no such thing as consent with a 15 year old. By law they have not reached the age to be able to give consent. It is straight up rape. If it was my daughter he wouldn't have lived to be tried. But I knew where my daughters were almost all the time. It is called parenting.

Rape might have occurred, but either the boy didn't want to mention it or was ignored by law enforcement officers. Texanmark is right- there is a double standard, unless you go to a country like Iran. But, you would have double standard going the other way.

I have never lived in West Virginia but my co-workers have told me there are a lot of hillbillies there. I don't know whether they are being serious or not but maybe she did try dating adult men in West Virginia.

You're both being obtuse. A 15-year old can't *legally* give consent to an adult, but don't pretend that a conscious 15 year old is just as helpless as someone who is passed out drunk. 15 year olds may make bad decisions, and some of them will do so frequently. But they still have agency.
There's not some magical fairy dust from the heavens that changes you from 0% judgement to 100% judgement on your 18th birthday. That's a legal fiction that we've established for the convenience of judges and prosecutors. It's convenient, but it's not always morally right. That's how we get cases like a 19 year old getting her life ruined for having consensual relations with her 16 year old boyfriend.
As a culture, we frequently confuse legal definitions with morality. They are not the same, and we need to stop pretending they are.
