Yes, I believe the MAC said no fall sports this year.

Nevermind, different, lower-division MAC although most of those teams could probably beat MAC FBS teams in football.

The MAC has had a few down years, but the history is rich with some great wins over the years.

His twin brother Zahir signed last December with CMU as a wideout.

It's amazing how they've turned the roster over. In year two there are only about 40 Carey guys left out of 120 on the roster.

At quarterback and tailback only one out of seventeen guys (Jordan Nettles) was brought in by the Carey staff.

Swann had some good offers. Looks like a nice pick-up on paper.

So what happens between now and the supposed football season in the spring? Are the guys still getting together and practicing? I assume conditioning and spending time learning the playbook?

NCAA is finalizing a plan for playing in the spring. They’ll be allowed to practice in the fall.

Currently allowed 12 hours per week of team activities, combo of lifting and practice. They believe it will go up to 20 hours at some point.

8 game season recommended

PAC-12 talked about playing in January and I know them and the big ten talked about aligning postseasons, but I can’t see starting in January in the Midwest. Probably should start in February and run right up to that April deadline.

Still think a division only MAC schedule with 1 OOC game makes the most sense. Could play any of the Illinois FCS teams.

So what happens with our BYU game? Is that just done for good?

I'm sure it will get rescheduled. BYU still has a contract to play a 1-for-1 with us and we already played them in Utah. Games get rescheduled all the time.
