Tigers OL
Most likely starters:
Brian Thomas 6'4 310 RS-JR
Dylan Parham 6'3 285 RS - JR
Isaac Ellis 6'2 308 RS-SO
Manuel Orona Lopez 6'3 291 RS-SR
Obinna Eze 6'8 315 RS- JR

Guys in the mix:
Matt Dale 6'6 320 RS-JR
Evan Fields 6'5 295 RS-SO
Titus Jones 6'4 295 RS-SO
Michael Denson 6'5 275 RS-SO
Jacob Likes 6'2 280 RS-FR

That is gonna be a deep group for the next few years. All have a redshirt year under them. That's the way you build it.

RE: Tigers OL
And Jared Edwards will be intriguing as he came in as a TE and has bulked up some (recall Parham was a TE originally). Parham and Eze may end up being early entrants to NFL. Moving Parham to center is interesting as I assumed Ellis was the heir apparent to Woodard.

RE: Tigers OL
Having Offensive Linemen entering the early draft is a thing devoutly to be desired. It means you OL coach (Silverfield) has gotten them ready. Means more talent will be coming wanting that development. This is where the offense starts.

RE: Tigers OL
I will be absolutely shocked if anyone one our OL declares early. We don't even have a 1st Team AAC player on that line. I think their draft stock would be incredibly improved from another season.

RE: Tigers OL
The offensive line is a major reason we have had success over the last couple years. I'm glad we promoted Coach Silverfield for that very reason.

The team is in great shape for years to come. This is now a program and not a flash in the pan. Look no further than the depth and quality of this OL.

I think most freshmen linemen plan to come in and spend a year growing and gaining strength. Very few are ready to come in and contribute.

Yep. Offensive lineman is some of the few positions that freshman can't step in and dominate.

Jared Edwards
University of Memphis

At 6′ 4″, 256 pounds, big Jared Edwards had a host of D1 offers, but now he has no doubt he made the right choice to become a Memphis Tiger.

After one year and two knee surgeries spurred on by an injury he suffered during the Toyota East-West All-Star Game his senior year, Edwards is getting stronger and faster.

He’s also making the grade. Edwards was named to the Dean’s List in the spring of this year.

Look for “Big Country” to begin making a major impact for the Tigers this season.
