No one is moving from BK to Memphis for anything but 'rea$ons'.

He got out just in time... It's a bad place to live or be without police (Police Defunding is a real "THING"), 24 people shot there last nigh alone.

Hope that "THING" ends soon.

Please don't bring your political views into this thread. This is about the AAC getting a big time shot in the arm recruiting wise and nothing else. 05-nono05-mafia

Not political view... I stopped watching the news so I don't really know wat is going on with politics.

I was at a neighbors house and the news come on and the shootings was the first thing they reported, we didn't get a chance to change the channel in time.

Sources: Multiple programs involved in the recruitment of Moussa Cisse expect him to commit to Kentucky on Wednesday. Five-Star prospect.

lmao i was like "what?" at first ..good one

109 today - need a bit of fun

Not trying to one up ya, but we we hit 116 Sunday and 112 yesterday. A chilly 108 today.

Our all-time high is 117, but that's bull****. My car registered 123 once back around 2008. The official high is taken at the airport which records the lowest temp in the valley. Chamber of Commerce doesn't want to scare away tourists.

I lived in Memphis for six years. Believe me I know. I nicknamed it Humis. 99 degrees 90% humidity.

Farmers Almanac rated the three most uncomfortable cities in the summer. Houston, Memphis, St.Louis in that order. Gulf air going up the Mississippi river. Awfully uncomfortable.

What makes Vegas bad is if you're in the sun, you're sweating all of your fluids out, but you're not aware of it. You Hardly see any sweat marks because it evaporates so fast. You then get dangerously dehydrated. Severe headaches etc. It's really weird.

That Pappis Cisse goal against Chelsea about 10 years ago is still the best goal Ive ever seen.

For me the hottest I've ever been, I mean dizzy hot, was as a kid in Louisiana during the summer. I thought I was going to die.

LSU convinced most of the national media that they were in the lead, for months. But afaik, they never were. Not according to Penny or to those close to Cisse.

Watching that Zlatan video brought back memories. That goal against England was so special.

What brought back the most memories was the Ajax to Inter era of his career when he didn't just have great goals but would do Messi-like dribbles through two levels of defenders. In his early 20s he was absolutely special and, apologies to Ronaldinho and Kaka, the best player in the world.

I'm nowhere on the level of fan as my two boys, but our current favorite player is Lewandowski. When I first started, I would tell them about Pele' and what a great player he was. All of us really enjoyed the movie about him a couple years ago. Must watch movie if you're a football fan.

Lewandowski is an absolute beast in front of goal and so much fun to watch. The time he scored 5 goals in 10 minutes was one of the best individual performances Ive ever seen. Truly special player.

I would love to see early 60s era Pele against current teams. the game has changed so much since then but he was such a genius with the ball at his feet and could finish from anywhere. He is one of the few players from pre-1986 that could even play in the current game.

Honestly, the list would be short. Kruyff(who brought about the current game), Pele, Beckenbauer, and Eusabio might be it. Even great players like di Stefano, Platini, etc would be insignificant in the new game that values athleticism so much.

We watched that too in amazement. I've never seen anyone better at being in position to score. It's amazing. All of a sudden he just appears like out of nowhere. Incredible. Pure scorer. Mueller assists have been helpful too, that's for sure. haha
