They said it did not include winter sports which hockey would be. I don't think they mean no sports during the fall semester, just no fall sports which is somewhat defined by the NCAA.

Ivy isn't allowing winter sports to play until after the new year. Wouldn't be shocked to see the Patriot to do the same.

All you need to do is look at the leadership of each State - there's no way that MA, NY, CA are going to let schools play/attend class at this point.

There's talk about Army and Navy playing their non-football fall sports in the Big Ten.

Believe I heard that the PSAC (Division II) in Pennsylvania which governs the PA State University System containing schools like Kutztown, East Stroudsburg, West Chester, and Millersville, has cancelled their fall sports programs. This virus cancellation mode is building steam in the Northeast with the Ivy and Patriot League fall sports cancellations and Covid-19 Pandemic spikes in this country.

Probably doesn't need it's own thread, but apparently the Big East is going conference-only for fall sports for the time being.

That's would be a fun game

Canceling the fall non-revenue sports offsets the loss of income from football not playing the neutral site Classic games. This is probably a way to help get back to 0 for the athletic departments.
