Greg Gillum football Chief of Staff
Anybody have insight as to what this means for our team?
Is someone in the football office moving on to open a spot for him or is this a net-new position?

I asked Chad about this on twitter and he said Gillum's role will encompass a lot of the off the field duties that Doug Phillips was doing prior to his departure to YSU.

Gillum was on Jim Tressel's and Urban Meyer's staff at OSU and undoubtedly has a lot of experience and connections throughout the state.

Nice. It's good to have a coach who spent most of his career at a blue blood. He's very well connected, and can fill any hole with a quality hire as a result.

Thanks for the info...and to Chad for answering your questions! Sounds like a good guy to have in this role at UC.

May be a good hire, but one has to question, why now? Why now a payroll addition, with budget cuts, a reduced or no season.

Because you give CLF what he needs to succeed.

Probably has been going on for a while and it was just approved and announced. How long has Doug Phillips been at Youngstown?
