Individual school data has been uploaded, but not yet integrated into the main page. The Memphis numbers are in line with what the local paper reported at the beg. of the year. UCONN $80,900,404
UH $75,049,955
UCF $69,121,887
UC $68,845,672
ECU $59,970,346
UM $55,815,109

It looks like your subsidy % also includes student athletic fees. Seems like the "school fees" bucket is more appropriate as a subsidy.

Curious but why? Both are the school funding the AD? Student athletic fees are just items that all students are required to pay which drive up the tuition costs.

USAToday labels it % allocated. On csnbbs, % allocated and subsidy have been used interchangeably for years. Whatever term you want to use, it's the % non self generated revenue.

I'm still seeing it. You just have to click on individual schools to see the most current numbers. I'm guessing they are still writing columns and such b/f releasing and ranking totals. I noticed they were getting close when the methodology page was updated on July 5th.

I guess. Just seems like one is money from customers, and the other is money kicked over from the state. It's like the academic side calling the fees carved out for classes a subsidy.

But yeah, I didn't realize that's how they've been calculating % allocated this whole time.

Its basically anything that doesn't come from self generated revenue (tickets/AD Donations).

It was a joke.

I’m just saying with all the programs in disarray and hearing all the doom and gloom of potentially losing millions because of Covid.

A thread about revenue made in previous season is kind of a null topic.

What in God's name are the administrations of James Madison and Delaware doing?!

Also, crazy that Houston lost $45,000,000 last year in athletics with a brand new, privately funded arena and new-ish football stadium.

Maryland gets $54,000,000 from Media rights and yet they still run a $25,000,000 deficit....yikers.

Just saw that depreciation is included in the school funds section which means without viewing those tables you really don't know what you're looking at with that school funds bucket.

I will add I specifically looked into the school funds category when I noticed a few schools numbers in the section have ballooned recently. Anyway, seems that Houston is probably recognizing depreciation on their new stadium and it's making them appear more outside revenue dependent then they probably are in reality.

Delaware and JMU's numbers are definitely fudged beyond belief. You just need to look at the subsidy, which is horrendous. They are seriously spending like they're an upper G5 program, which is going to crush their AD in the long run.
