Possibility we promote from within? Adam Hoffman was the Asst. S&C Coach for Basketball, so he would be up to speed on the current players and their routines. He is also the Head S&C Coach for Men’s & Women’s Golf and Diving. Finding a replacement for those sports may be easier in the short term.

Elise Jesse taking a job with ESPN sounds very plausible, but I think it would be rather premature to rename their town after her.

FWIW, this was officially announced at UConn yesterday. This morning Elise Jesse conformed she was leaving Channel 5 (she did not say she had another gig).

I did have to chuckle that, over on the UConn/Boneyard discussion board, someone said that their "best" moment in the American Conference was "stealing" Cincinnati's strength and conditioning coach.

I can't really criticize Mick for it and I don't know all the mechanics of it, but Hurley said Mick gave him a strong recommendation to hire Rehfeldt in a recent Athletic article.

OT but the Athletic article is a good read focused on Hurley being an unlikely but strong Bengal fan. Some good stories there including how the Hurley brothers almost ended up attending Moeller...

Man that is pathetic but perhaps valid.

For those wondering, Elise Jesse has a new gig, but she can’t disclose it yet

For a school that has invested so much in football with a negative return, and watched their bball team fall of the map with the Cahoun retirement, they take pleasure where they can get it.
