Story about the Wisconsin effort says AD Alvarez has asked ticket holders to reinvest in the "legacy" campaign. Alvarez said donors would get some recognition and some memorabilia/trinkets.

Also, could Huskie athletics go the GoFundMe route?

In any case, our bveloved U is going to have to come clean with some $$ numbers if it/they want help.

Maybe we could donate our season ticket money and get an autographed picture of STF!!!

If NIU football is cancelled, there is still/also the cost of testing staff and student-athletes for other sports coming up.

If football were to be cancelled and then resumed in the Fall of 2021, I would completely understand and it would not upset me at all. These are tough times we are going through.

Hitting twitter now. MAC will not play football in the fall. Moved to spring. NIU told them they would not be playing in the fall and MAC did not like the optics of playing without NIU.

The conference canceled all fall sports, not just football.
