Hmmm wonder what might have caused those things ...

Precisely. That's why you look at "excess deaths" to see the true impact of the virus. Per Johns Hopkins, that number for 2020 stands at about 200,000.

Read this from Johns Hopkins for what it's worth to any of you. Excess Deaths Show the True Impact of COVID-19

I realize that some will only see an election plot behind it and fully acknowledge that nothing under the sun could ever change that.

Fauci sounded very optimistic today. While the Russian vaccine showed positive Phase II results, US, English and German (the good guys, remember?) vaccines are already in Phase III.

President Trump plans to hold a news conference Sunday evening regarding a potential major therapeutic “breakthrough” for treating the coronavirus.

The president will announce the development at 6 p.m., accompanied by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Dr. Stephen Hahn, head of the Food and Drug Administration

He’s expected to talk about convalescent plasma. It’s not a major breakthrough. Recent Mayo / NIH study found small but statistically significant reduction in mortality with convalescent plasma though study was not an RCT. As usual Trump is peddling fantasy.
Probably something he got from Russia.

No China, Biden and Plosive personalty witnessed the transaction and re willing to bet Mitch McConnell life that it is true.

A CV-19 vaccine may be ready for limited distribution as early as 11/1/20. Medical professionals will be first in line.

People should skip kissing and consider wearing a mask when having sex to reduce your chances of being exposed to the novel coronavirus, according to Canada's top doctor on Wednesday.

Good thing to here about a possible vaccine. but to the front line people first? It better have a great, great, great reliability rate to give to the front line people first.

Since the advent of the Corona virus, I'm becoming less and less impressed with scientists and medical professionals.

Yep, you don't want the medical system to collapse. Plus those people are at higher risk simply because they work around the virus. Who's a line next is anyone's guess -- but I bet it depends a lot on how the vaccine performs. If it's safe and effective in older / at risk people then maybe they'll be next in line. If it's shown to stop transmission best than those who are in positions to transfer the virus to others may be next in line. Lots of variables. But yeah healthcare workers would have to be first in my opinion. It's going to be interesting.

Word is the House will block distribution due to lack of funding to states for distribution in the last 2 decades, paraphrasing, can't remember the exact statement, I was driving at the time.

More than half of those who have covid-virus and don’t die, have significant heart damage.

300 out of every 100,000 people in the population who contract the covid virus are young people.

More BS shoveled from the "we're all going to die" crowd that is rooting for the virus.

Yup. All us smart people get our medical advice from the insular feedback loop of our Facebook news algorithms.

Just last month them experts said that Pappy had bladder cancer. I immediately went to Facebook and learned from a news article there that it was one of them election year plots! I just told Pappy to wait til November - and to vote twice!

Yet they've managed to cancel sports throughout the states, the truth slowly comes out after the fact. A bit too late!

I understand that this thread is plagued with questionable sources and cherry picked information, but people should definitely stay away from peddling links from OANN (a network that openly presents conspiracy theories as factual information) that present this unpublished and not peer reviewed manuscript as a finished study that may mean something useful. It's crazy to have to point out something like this on a message board that is supposedly mostly made up of college graduates, but here we are.
