Diamond Head Classic 2020
WMU withdrawing from Diamond Head Classic.

Gotta be a bummer for them to miss out on a Hawaii trip, but considering the circumstances, gotta figure this was coming...

Honestly maybe this transitions us toward more reasonable spending in college sports. Why do they need to go to Hawai'i? Why not do a tournament in Chicago or Detroit or Traverse City would be dope af.

This would be awesome. Fans could travel to the games and stay for a night and watch. I'd take a weekend road trip to Chicago to watch us play Loyola & UW-M along with others there.

Above has too many MAC teams.
November / December Tournament objective should be to play teams not already playing twice a year.
Bonus would be game or two with a P5 team

Beggars can’t be choosy. Object is to fill OOC w/ D1 competition that is 4-5 hours away, geographically connected and not an over the top expense.

Drop NIU and choose Western I’ll. Or SIUE. Dayton, MVC in general and pig 10 less likely. Leaves MAC, Horizon, Summit and Ohio Valley.

Dbl elimination and schedule min chance to see conference opp.

Mid and Eastern Great Lake Shabang

- Canisius
- St. Bonaventure
- Akron
- Cleveland State

- Youngstown State

- CMU
- Oakland
- Wayne State

I think hoops has a decent shot of still happening, especially if they scale back the OOC portion to just start in December.

Football, OTOH, is looking dicey. Seven weeks to kickoff.

My money is on no football this season... and an NCAA ruling that nobody loses any years of eligibility due to the lack of season. Rosters are gonna look pretty top heavy for a year or two...

Will be interesting.

Hard to see Football being moved to Spring working because anyone with a chance at the NFL will probably end up not playing.

Hoops has a chance of happening I hope (let me dream now always time to be sad later if not)

The TBT has been fun to watch for the most part, some really good games.

NBA coming up hopefully. MLB for those who care etc
