RE: Lawson x 2
One thing about the Lawson are true. They play good fundamental ball and the lack of athleticism make it possible they are 3 to 4 year players. We need guys who can develop to go along with the lottery pick guys.

As fast as Penny wants to play, if we get Cisse and Rand with a Lawson...that's a lot of defensive length.

Chandler would likely get the waiver to play immediately. Cisse will certainly be starting. Chandler will have to work. I think DJ and LQ would start, with Chandler in the bench rotation with Stokes and Lance. But this also depends on whether the other 2 transfers get waivers. Deandre should have a good case. Nolley may, but there's no way the NCAA gives us 3 waivers, so Nolley might be out. In fact, he MIGHT be the scholly that would free up by deciding to "go pro".

I hope both new Lawsons show more Dedric maturity and less KJ immaturity. I believe they will respect the coach more from the onset.

Indeed 100%

Transfer rules are never defined. I guess I'm not understanding if Chandler transferred, why he would be a lock for approval without having to sit out.vs. say. Nolley or Williams....

I think they already granted a waiver for a kid transferring closer to home due to Covid.

What in the world could you possibly be basing this on? We see things like this said all the time on the internet with no justification. It's a bad look.

I assume he is saying that Penny bought talent at East.

He's talking definitely ("is") not maybe or speculatively. "Is a walking violation".

Doesnt matter... 1. Penny is an established "friend of the family". 2. They were employed by Penny at different points.

Some are saying the "closer to my family due to pandemic" or "don't feel safe there due to pandemic" is the fast-track to an NCAA waiver this year.

Might not. But something evidently changed. Penny publicly offered Johnathon. And Keelon publicly said very reconciliatory things.

Some offers are just for respect. Doesn’t really mean they really want them to commit. I don’t know the whole story here but I do not think that Jonathon fits Penny’s system. I think he offered as a olive branch to mend fences with the family.

Is Jonathan more athletic than his brothers?

Nope. He's better with the bounce and has more guards skills that his brothers. 3 pointer needs improving.

If he is not more athletic than the other 3 he likely would also be a liability on defense. Penny seems to want everyone on the floor to be able to guard.

How would know if he isn't athletic if you haven't seen him play live? Go watch him play so you want have to say "likely"
