Are fb/bb players back on your campus yet?
I'm starting to hear some MAC schools have already opened weight rooms and such to FB/BB players?
Can anybody confirm return to campus timelines for fb/bb at their schools.

In Michigan high school teams can start doing drills. Gyms/weight rooms open in the UP but closed in the Mitten. Not sure if that restriction includes weight rooms & stuff for the colleges, but if it does, them being open in the UP indicates they'll be opening in the mitten soon. I imagine the college teams will be able to do drills soon if they haven't already, but the problem is right now campuses remain closed

Toledo said that athletes would be allowed on campus yesterday, June 8.

Giving us the edge over our 4 Michigan opponents... I'll take it.

Hopefully they get one of those 5 minute test systems and have PM2.5 air filters running in the weight room.

Buffalo football players on campus or living local can begin working out this week. All players and walk-ons will be allowed on campus July 6th.

Voluntary workouts were set to begin June 15th for NIU. Haven't seen or heard any reporting on how many NIU football players are on campus for it though.

EMU players are back. I believe starting with those who live locally and upperclassmen. Hope I got it right.

Will delete post if most say so.

Quote:One UMass football player has tested positive for coronavirus.

He and several of his teammates, who tested negative are currently in quarantine for 14 days.

To limit contact, UMass has arranged its roster into pods of (usually) 10 players, who workout in the same group, eat at the same time and live in physically-distanced relative close proximity to each other. The other team members in the infected player’s pod tested negative, but are still currently remaining isolated for 14 days as a precaution. The athletic department is using the Campus Center Hotel for quarantining.
...
Bamford said there are 80-90 players on campus and approximately 20 staff members (coaches, trainers, managers, equipment personnel) all of whom have been tested at least once. He estimated there’s been over 150 total tests administered.

“Protocols are good. Everything is working,” Bamford said. “Everybody has been tested at least once.
