RE: MAC Becoming A News Desert
not a lot to write about.
i did notice that Akron added a 6-10 African kid to the BBall roster which was thin upfront while solid at the guard and wing positions. and Kent added an interesting FB transfer who started at Notre Dame as a 4 star RB recruit, got in trouble and walked on at Penn St but never really played. Should have 2 years left.

RE: MAC Becoming A News Desert
a little more minor MAC basketball news as NIU, which seems to have a roster of 37 players, adds another recruit with a Middle Tennessee transfer, can't recall the name, a 6-8 guard who looks good on the floor but didn't provide much production on 2 poor MTSU teams over a season and a quarter (injury, didn't suit up in 84-62 loss to the Rockets in Dec 18). inkster michigan kid who is unique in that he's a 6-8 guard. might have soph eligibility if he can play now. NIU really deepened their roster in recruiting. a lot of transfers players. of course, they lost their star and 2 reliable big men so i'm not expecting a lot out of them, but they went all in on spring signings and late transfers and while they didn't knock it out the park, they at least got on base with a lot of big athletic experienced new players.
