After listening to speakers, some people left Pioneer Courthouse Square and went to the Justice Center while others left the area.

At around 9:15 p.m., police said the group by the Justice Center began blocking traffic at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Main Street. They set up barricades on Southwest Main Street and Southwest Salmon Street at Southwest 3rd Avenue, police said. They also lit a fire where the elk statue once stood and at the intersection of Southwest Madison Street and Southwest 3rd Avenue.

Shortly after 1 a.m., the demonstrators began walking to Portland Police Bureau's Central Precinct on Southwest 2nd Avenue.

Police said they removed some of the barricade at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Salmon Street, but demonstrators returned to the area and reportedly threw glass bottles at officers. The group rebuilt the barricade.

I think there's already a law in the books and as far back as the 1700s during Washington term he personally led a group of soldiers to quell a riot that was forming. Look it up. That's what we need. The protestors have gone overboard in their protests and they have to be brought down with bullets if need be. That's how riots become government changing actions.

deploy US marshalls to the federal buildings and protect them with force. Tell the governor if he wants to protect the state's property he can call out the guard.

There is no need for the military. Our police forces are over-armed, to the point of violating the constitution. No, all they need is to have the balls (and the backing of the American people/political leaders) to "meet a force with an unequal and superior force". They have the tools. They are afraid to use them. And to be honest, they should not without citizen participation.

Anyone seen throwing a molotov cocktail, wielding a bat, baton or stick, or using sling shots should be met with bullets.
