BREAKING: Antifa attacks Republican volunteers in Oregon

The attack happened around 12:00 pm on the corner of 3rd Ave and Main during a rally for Republican Mayor Stan Pulliam of Sandy, Oregon who is running for Governor.

Mayor Stan Pulliam shared a video to Twitter which showed black bloc Antifa approaching the group carrying "Antifascist" flags and various different objects.

Antifa militants proceeded to launch projectiles at the crowd consisting of children and elderly participants which included mortar type fireworks. They also used noisemakers to drown out the group, in an attempt to disrupt their freedom of speech.

"This is what happens when a Republican dares to hold an event in Portland to talk about funding our police. Antifa shows up. Well we won’t be intimidated and stop speaking the truth," Pulliam said.

According to Portland Police Bureau, two people reported injuries from Antifa using mortar explosives. One adult male reported an injury to the hand, and an adult female complained of hearing loss. Antifa also allegedly filled balloons with paint and were thrown at people and vehicles.

There is no defense for such behavior, hopefully the perpetrators will be swiftly apprehended and punished to the maximum extent allowed by the law. That said, there is no comparison to January 6th. These terrorists in Portland did not attack a Constitutionally mandated process to carry out the peaceful transfer of power following an election loss, the very heart of our system of government. At no point did their violent and destructive behavior threaten democracy itself.

Fortunately, there is no need to equate the two in order to condemn them both. We're making excellent progress punishing those who engaged in and were responsible for January 6th, and hopefully these criminals will soon be brought to justice as well.

GM, I would think that you are smart enough to figure out that Jan6 was a false flag operation conducted by dems/RINOs in concert with the FBI, intelligence agencies and Congressional leadership (who failed to have security in place) in order to paint DT and his supporters as violent insurgents bent on overthrowing the government. How? With what weapons? When have you last seen the right get violent at their gatherings? That's the bastion of YOUR side of the aisle, your tribe.

People who continue to hold on to that narrative are a bunch of sheep, bleating whatever you are told. You WANT it to be true but it is not. There is plenty of evidence that is being withheld, like 14K hours of security footage that the government will not release. Why? Because it blows huge holes in their preferred narrative, showing capitol police letting the demonstrators into the building. They WANTED this to happen.

Why the continued narrative of "an insurrection?" If you open your eyes, it is a dem trick/trap. Look what dems and their lawyers are trying to do to Marjorie Taylor Green. On the books is a statute that says anybody involved in an insurrection may not run for federal office. They are not really out just to get her - it's a trial run. If it works, what they want to do is tie Trump to an "insurrection" so he can't run again. The left and RINOS are that scared of Trump. They know that he can overturn most of the damage that the far leftist extremists have done to this country.

It's really a damn shame that so many in this country seemingly can no longer think critically about things. I get that you are loyal to your tribe, but try thinking. It doesn't hurt (it's painless, even for the brainless).
