Funny. I interpret this as saying that they want to help nurture and care for everyone. The disrupting of the "Western-prescribed nuclear family" is supporting families that don't include the traditional husband & wife structure, but all the new types of families that would include the LGTBQ+ people to be more inclusive. That's how I interpret that statement.

Oh, yeah, that's how I interpret that as well. We have now identified what we disagree on. What you think of as virtue, I think of as blasphemy. And I will point to the beginning of poverty in the black community specifically as having started when the government ran the black father out of the home in favor of bigger welfare checks. Ok. Nice video. You do realize that all black people don't think the same. I realize that this video supports what you believe but most black people don't feel the same way as Mr. Elder. An alternative reason could be incarceration rates for black men are much higher than for other races that commit the same offenses, therefore taking them out of the home not. Lastly, there are more white people on welfare than black people. Don't believe me. Look it up. Anyways, have a Happy 4th of July.

It doesn't matter what most black people think. Truth is truth, whether people think it is true or not. People who don't commit crime RARELY end up in jail. And you heard his statistics... that is, if you REALLY listened to the video. If you grow up without a father, you are so many Xs more likely to end up in jail. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SKIN COLOR.... Nor does being on welfare, which you rightly pointed out. Look, I'm not here to cheer on "my side" (which would be disgusting). I'm just saying this is the cold hard truth, and I want the black community's problems to be solved. Selfishly, I'll admit it. I want them to be solved A) because no one should grow up without a father, and B) I'm tired of hearing about it. I've been hearing about it for 52 years. It would be far better if people would just get a job, get a social life, and stop politicizing EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE.
