RE: Now this might be fun
Didn't read the whole thing, but I take it BG is dropped out of FBS and Toledo will not play them again as Western Michigan (?) was made to be their "rival". I guess that kills the whole NIU rivalry talk once and for all. Being in a conference with Michigan and Ohio State would be tough, but just think - every other year they would have to come to the Glass Bowl and tickets would be about $200 for an end zone seat. I just wonder what the national anthem will be that is played before each game - or will each school be able to determine it's own "national anthem" they want to play? The real question is whether the players will become holograms and the coaching decisions are made up in the computer lab by players with carpel tunnel in their thumbs and down through their wrists and forearms on controllers crusted with cheese puffs.

Moto, we’ll all soon be able to listen to our personal choice of national anthem over individual headsets. No kneeling allowed by anyone since you get to listen to whatever your personal anthem is, and you therefore must be respectful of others choices until theirs is done. I’m going to choose In-A-Godda-Da-Vita by Iron Butterfly as my personal national anthem so that everyone has to stand until it’s finished (while quietly singing the Star Spangled Banner to myself).

RE: Now this might be fun
Interesting.
It kind of reminds me of the English Premier league with the bottom team being “relegated ” to FCS each year and fighting to get back up. That’s a tall mountain and slippery slope for the current G5 schools.
The Rocky Mtn and Northeastern divisions are quite weak but that’s always been historically true.
Football recruiting might actually marginally improve with this scenario as long as the subject school can stay out of the cellar and not be cast to the abyss.
Thanks for posting

I’m going with Parthenogenesis or Refried Boogie. Combined we’ll get well over half an hour of forced standing (or kneeling). I’m 68 so I expect I’ll be kneeling, or prone, by the end of ours.
